Please refer to the guidance below for what to bring and what to expect from your photography appointment.
I offer a no obligation appointment at the studio where we can have an informal chat about your needs. I will show you a range of sample albums, talk you through the photography packages on offer, and the differences between each one.
You are welcome to bring a change of outfit to your photography appointment. Coordinating colours work very well, for example one family dressed their children in red and white, a siblings shoot all wore a variety of outfits but in matching shades of navy red and white. Simple jeans and a white or black top can also be very effective. Props are welcome. If the children have hobbies for example ballet, football or play musical instruments feel free to include these on your visit, it can help bring out their character and represent the phase they are at.
For studio portraits I allow up to an hour for families and young children, but allow more time for newborn sessions. If you would like to be pampered with make up and hair it can be up to an hour extra. For lifestyle photo shoots depending on location it can take between 1 and 2 hours to allow time to set up any equipment and achieve the best from a variety of areas within the same park or venue.
Portfolio photo shoots will be discussed at the time of booking to be organised for the day and gain the best results, knowing what the outcome should be is essential. Good planning leads to great shots for your portfolio, so speaking to your agent regarding what they believe you need to move forward is important.
If you are a new model building up a portfolio to meet with agents, from the experience I’ve gained I can advise what will work for you. I’ve carried out a number of portfolio shoots which has not only helped sign new models but also got experienced models noticed and signed by London agents. I can arrange a make up artist and styling at extra cost, or you are welcome to introduce your preference. Appointments can last between 1 and half hours to half a day.
I am also available for e-commerce and commercial shoots where you can book myself for a half or full day shoot at the studio or for location work. Please contact me with your requirements for a competitive quote.
There are now less restrictions than there originally were with acting headshots which Is why I offer a range of packages and both studio and location shots. Bring a range of tops, white & black, neutral, Blouse/shirt, blazer, casual etc. Even if we don’t use them all, it’s better to bring too much than regret not having it with you on the day. I recommend speaking to your agent prior to your appointment to be advised of anything specific they would like to see.
After the shoot you will receive contact sheets by email in both colour and black and white from which you can select your images which will also be received by email. Prints can be purchased if required.
Photography can last between an hour to a full day depending on the nature of the event. A combination of candid images capturing the atmosphere and/or posed groups on entry work well depending again on the type of event. A studio can be set up in an appropriate area so that your guests can have a lasting memory. Images can be provided on disk, as prints or on a web gallery.
Prices vary, please contact me with your details including date of the event, location and how much coverage you require.
